Institute of Business Security (IBS)

General information about IBS

Institute of Business Security (IBS) was created as a structural MPEI sub-division in 2000 on the basis of conception of the self-supporting divisions ensuring the students the possibility to absorb high-quality education on the well-claimed directions. Both MPEI teacher (on the fundamental disciplines) and the involved teachers of other high-education institutions of Moscow work at IBS together with the specialist-analysts from state management bodies, security service of enterprises and companies. IBS was officially accredited and issues the state diplomas of MPEI.

IBS gives the high education on specialties:

• Organization and Technology of Information Security
  specialization – Administration of Information Systems and Networks
  qualification – specialist on information security

• Combined Security of Information Objects
  specialization – Administration of Information Systems and Networks
  qualification – specialist on information security

• Economics and Management on Enterprise
  specialization – Management of Economic Security
  qualification – economist-manager

• Management of Organization
  specialization – Management of Business Risks
  qualification – manager

In the main educational program there are the advanced courses of computer training, the foreign language courses and juridical disciplines. IBS trains the students in day-time system on the basis of payment.

IBS includes the pre-university courses.

The specialists with higher education may take the professional retraining courses on the program "Economics and Management on the enterprise" with specialization "Economic security of the managed object".

Forms of training

• both internal and correspondence education;

• correspondence education using the distant technologies of education.

The qualification improvement is available for the specialists. The consultations, training and seminars are used on the relevant points of business security.
