Delegation of MPEI at the II Conference of BRICS Network University

MPEI delegation took part in the work of the Second Conference of the BRICS Network University that was arranged at North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power (Zhengzhou, China). In frames of the Conference the National Coordination Committee of BRICS countries and the International thematic groups in addition to plenary sessions participated there. National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute" is a power engineering coordinator of the International thematic group. During the group meeting the issues about functioning of BRICS Network University were discussed and the work results of the first year were tabulated. The issues concerning the development of joint educational programs were also considered. At the suggestion of MPEI the basis of the Road map of the Power Engineering area of the BRICS Network University in 2017/2018 was formed. Representatives of the partner universities provided achievements of Universities and they took part in development of the Road map. It is important to note that the final protocol was successfully signed.

The third general conference of BRICS Network University will take place in 2018 in Cape Town, the Republic of South Africa. ​​
