MPEI International Division informs that from the 25th of November till the 30th of November, 2012 the delegation from Institute of Thermal and Nuclear Power Engineering of MPEI visited Hacettepe University and Istanbul TU within the Federal program of support of National Research Universities in Russia. The purpose of visit to Turkey had been professional development on a subject: "Exploring of Turkish experience in development of innovative activity and transfer of technologies". During the business trip there had been a visit to departments of Engineering and Science of the oldest technical university in Turkey - the Istanbul TU, and also a visit to Science and Technology Park took place.

During the visit to Hacettepe University MPEI delegation members visited a techno polis of transfer of technologies, held meetings with the leadership of engineering department and Nuclear Power Plants Department.

During the visit there had been organized round tables on subjects: "Transfer of technologies and technological infrastructure in Hacettepe University" and "Search of investors and monitoring of license processes. Support of experts in protection of intellectual property rights", and also the seminar "Increase in efficiency of research projects. Training of the personnel in innovative activity in the field of energetics".

During the visit to the Istanbul Technical University and Hacettepe University at the meetings and round tables within the program of professional development it was succeeded to examine experience of the Turkish colleagues in the field of preparation of innovative personnel and introduction of modern methods of providing the latest scientific and technical information to the employees and students of the university, engaged in innovative projects.​
