MPEI International Division informs that from January 30 to February 6 within a joint program of International Division and Trade-union committee of students on the organization of student's exchanges there had been a visit of MPEI students to Poland. Purpose of visit was short-term training at the University of Finance and Management in Bialystok.

From January 31 to February 3 - 11 students from MPEI examined the device of educational and computer classes, laboratories, lecture halls of a branch of the University of Finance and Management in the city of Elk. From February 4 to February 6 several visits to the University of Finance and Management in the city of Bialystok took place. There had been a meeting with the rector of University - Joseph Shablovski who told in detail about educational process, in particular about programs according to which the Polish and foreign students are trained. There had been lectures in English for students, devoted to innovations and high technologies, and also the program training of students "Erasmus". Besides, students visited the Promotech Co. specializing on production of welding machines. This firm is one of the largest dealers in the world market.
