MPEI participated in the conference "Russian Education is a key to Future Success!" in the Republic of Moldova

The International Administration informs that Dean on work with foreign students in MPEI Ankin A. visited the Russian intellectual center in the Republic of Moldova since 02.11.2016 to 03.11.2016 to participate in the conference "Russian Education is a key to Future Success!"

About 150 parents and pupils of graduation and pregraduation classes in secondary educational institutions of the Republic of Moldova from Chisinau, Balti, Comrat, Cahul, Tiraspol and others participated in the conference. Representatives of the Congress of the Russian communities in the Republic of Moldova and directorates of secondary educational institutions of Moldova also took part there. At the conference a wide range of issues from conditions of the admission in 2017 to employment of the alumni of the Russian Universities who are citizens of the Republic of Moldova was discussed.

During the report made by Ankin A. the presentation about MPEI was shown. In the presentation MPEI was represented as the University with high personnel and technical potential, that gives the higher education highly quoted in the professional environment, also comprehensively opens students' life and stay. During the presentation there were given the short characteristics of the training programs, employment options and the demands of alumni. In the oriented and directed presentation on robotics and mechatronics provided by Dept. "Robotics, Mechatronics, Dynamics and Durability of Machines" there were shown tasks solved by robots, options of their designs, the functional concepts and standard sizes.

During the answering to questions of students, their parents and representatives of various organizations there was performed the insight according to the educational programs realized by University, there were explained the Regulations of Admission in  MPEI in 2017.

After the conference together with the partner of MPEI - Russian intellectual center on behalf of Director Burakov E. there were discussed the perspective areas of work for quality assurance of the admission in 2017:

• participation of University in preparation of control and measuring materials for the Republican multisubject tournament – November, 2016 – February, 2017;
• participation of University in holding the Tournament of young compatriots – March-April, 2017 (Republic of Moldova);
• interaction with Management concerning migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow and employers of alumni to simplify the procedure of obtaining citizenship of the Russian Federation.
