MPEI took part in annual International Workshop on extending and strengthening of collaboration between countries-participants in Bologna Process31.05.2019From the 23th until the 24th of May, MPEI was taking part in the annual International Workshop "Strengthening the collaboration between countries-partners and countries-participants of Erasmus+ program" that was held in the EU Representative Office in Russia.This workshop was held in respect to the tradition of giving a ground to setting new contacts and discussion of the collaboration issues in the framework of Erasmus+. Along with the framework of Erasmus+, the Global approach one to the development of collaboration between Bologna process countries took place. It was applied to the field of international education programs, scientific research, academic mobility development, announcement of new ideas and projects, positive experience exchange. The event was visited by the representatives of EU delegation in Russia, National and contact offices of Algeria, Armenia, Ireland, Spain, Italy, France and Uzbekistan, representatives of Italian and Spanish Embassies, Russian and foreign universities. During the workshop representatives of National Offices were speaking about the educational systems of their countries along with some interactive sessions that were being held. They were dedicated to new challenges that are faced by strategy experts that are trying to harmonize international education programs in order to support academic mobility.MPEI was presented by the coordinator of international academic projects Irina Kulik. During the individual discussions with colleagues from European countries and national agencies the following aspects that interest MPEI were considered: Italy: ready to actively support the development of cooperation with Russian universities, not only through Erasmus + programs, but also by offering a number of minor programs funded by the EU and the Italian government. At the same time, when considering applications and approving funding, priority is given to little-known Italian universities located in small towns. Spain: there is a demand for the development of cooperation in the field of engineering. In this regard, the Attaché for Education of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain, Mr. José Aurelio Llanez Villanueva, expressed his intention to visit MPEI to study the prospects for cooperation. Algeria: there is a demand for partnerships in joint Erasmus + projects (direction KA2 - joint projects) in the field of Renewable Energy. Armenia: there is a demand for partnership in the framework of joint projects "Horizon 2020" (Horizon 2020) in the field of "Information Technologies", "Applied Mathematics".
