Group of graduate and postgraduate students of Tsinghua University at MPEI

23 June 2019 MPEI hosted a visit of Chinese students of Tsinghua University.
Tsinghua University is a long-term partner of MPEI that has been founded in 1911 and belongs now to the list of 9 high-end Chinese Universities "League C9". In 2017 Jiang Peisue, MPEI Alumni, professor of Tsinghua University was awarded the rank of "Honorable professor of MPEI" for his great contribution to our University’s collaboration successes..

Upon arrival, the group of students was met at the Department of International Relations, where its Head Elena Gulicheva showed a presentation about MPEI them. Later, the Chinese guests were offered a tour round the Department of General Physics and Nuclear Fusion. There, Vladimir Manukhin, Deputy Head of the Institute of Thermal and Nuclear Power Engineering, and professor Vyacheslav Budaev spoke about the department and presented the local equipment.

Then the students paid a visit to the Department of Relay Protection and Power Systems Automatization, where they were given acquaintance to the equipment that interested them much.

At the end of the day the meeting with the IPEEP administration took place. Ekaterina Zhigulina demonstrated a new presentation of the Institute and spoke about the new English-medium Master program.
