MPEI - member of the International partner network of Universities "Power Supply and Energy Efficiency" - "NESEFF"09.02.2016 In September, 2015 during the summing up of the International conference "Power Supply and Energy Efficiency" in Baku, Azerbaijan where there took part professors and students from MPEI to provide a sustainable deepening of scientific communications and cooperation, conferees signed the agreement on organization of the partner network of Universities for continuous cooperation in power supply and energy efficiency NESEFF, "Network for energy supply and energy efficiency". The parties who signed this agreement: Azerbaijani Technical University, Baku, Azerbaijan National Mining University, Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg, Cottbus, Germany National Research University "MPEI" Representatives of NESEFF Universities - partners, Baku, Azerbaijan, September, 2015 Tasks of NESEFF members: regular scientific exchange employees advanced training informing and consultation of government bodies, establishments, associations, etc. in the field of power engineering support of continuous education of students in this field. The founder and the chairman of NESEFF is Dr.Sci.Tech., prof. Silvio Simon. Also NESEFF functioning is performed with the assistance of Institute of ecological technologies and recycling "IURS e. B.", Senftenberg, Germany. In October, 2015 representatives of Universities - partners met at the International Conference "Day of Engineering Sciences", "Tag der Ingenieurwissenschaften" in Brandenburg University of Technology in Senftenberg. There actual scientific reports on the subjects devoted to issues of energy saving in various industries and in the private sector, conditions and prospects of development of energy saving technologies in the countries of Europe in particular and in the world in general, energy security of the European countries, a role of ecological aspects in fuel and energy complex, developments and implementations of new power - and resource-saving technologies in civil and industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, etc. were made. MPEI was represented by professors of Heat-and-Mass Exchange Processes and Installations Department and Industrial Heat Engineering Systems Department. One of the important results of the Conference became the joining in NESEFF partners network the following Universities: Technical University of Liberec (Liberec, Czech Republic) Wroclaw University of Technology (Wroclaw, Poland).
