25th Anniversary of cooperation between MPEI and Konstanz University of Applied Sciences (HTWG Konstanz Germany)

​MPEI and University of Applied Sciences of Konstanz (Germany) will hold a number of events dated for the 25th Anniversary of the signing of the Agreement on cooperation. Within the planned events since 30.05.16 to 01.06.2016 there is provided the visit of the students' group and representatives of University of Applied Sciences of Konstanz to the best laboratories of the advanced inventions of MPEI, a meeting with the management, professors and students of our University. The program provides the discussion of the cooperation results and definition of its new challenges. Besides meetings and discussions in MPEI and also the cultural program, the Department of International Relations and Department of Hydro Power Engineering and Renewable Energy Sources are organizers of acquaintance with the advanced Russian partner companies. Among the world famous organizations interested in meeting with the German and Russian experts there is Kaspersky Lab company, whose management and employees will tell about strategic activities and also they will hold a master class on issues concerning information protection of industrial and power sites. Throughout the events dated for the 25th Anniversary of the conclusion of the contract on cooperation between MPEI and University of Applied Sciences of Konstanz (Germany) in October, 2016 it is planned to hold the scientific and methodical seminar in Germany with the participation of the Russian and German experts - the former trainees who have had training in Germany and Russia.

For the information: The partnership of MPEI and Konstanz University of Applied Sciences began in 1991 - there was the exchange training of the German students of electric engineering laboratory and Russian Ph.D.-students from the Dept. of Hydro Power Engineering and Renewable Energy Sources (later Department of Electrical engineering and borescope inspection and Department of Technology of metals have joined this project). For last period more than 200 Russian and German experts took part in the cooperation. Besides the annual students' exchange, the parties have organized large-scale exhibitions and conferences, they have founded scientific and implementation firms, they have created new electrotechnical devices. MPEI and University of Applied Sciences of Konstanz practice joint thesis defense and scientific theses.
