MPEI took part in the XX annual All-Russian conference

17-18 September, 2022, MPEI took part in the XX Annual All-Russian Conference and from 19-24 September, 2022 in the XXX Annual All-Russian School-Seminar "Integration of Russian Universities into the World Educational and Scientific Space, Taking into Account Regional Features" in Anapa. Conference and school-seminar organizers were the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA), Federal State Budgetary Institution "Interobrazovanie", Educational Scientific and Consulting Center "Internauka", MPEI and other Russian universities.

During the event, the participants discussed the following issues:

• international activities of Russian universities as a potentially powerful resource for the country and its regions in building up the intellectual potential, innovative renewal of the national economy, its clustering, development of public diplomacy, strengthening Russia's influence on world events;

• system of priorities in the development of international activities of Russian educational and scientific organizations in promoting national interests and supporting regional development processes;

• mechanisms for enhancing the creative activity of Russian universities and Russian centers of science and culture in the space of strategic contractual relations between Russia and, above all, the CIS countries;

• features of strategizing the international activities of Russian universities in the context of a significant change in the dynamics of processes associated with upholding and promoting Russia's foreign economic and geopolitical interests in the current conditions of a constant increase in sanctions pressure, rocking large-scale Russophobia; reducing the risk of serious inaccuracies and errors, and much more.

From MPEI side, Alexander Tarasov, Vice-Rector on International Relations, Marina Osipova Deputy Director for International Relations, Irina Sokolova, Assistant Vice-Rector for International Relations, Ekaterina Nikitina, Specialist of the Directorate for International Relations took part in the conference. The participants presented 3 reports:

1. International educational projects in the system of continuous training of personnel;

2. The specifics of the performance indicators of foreign scientific and pedagogical workers of the university;

3. Managing the performance of employees of international services.

Within the framework of the workshop, representatives from MPEI prepared initial proposals for the structure of the methodological complex for ensuring the international activities of the university.
