The All-Russian competition on professional skills improvement at the National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute" Volzhskiyiy branch

​On the 18th of May, 2016 the National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute" branch in Volzhskiy hosted the representatives of power engineering colleges of any Russian region. The dimensions of the event was huge; there were participated 62 students from 56 technical schools and colleges from 45 subjects of the Russian Federation: Chuvashia, Khakassia, Bashkortostan, Dagestan, Komi Republic, Tatarstan, Mordovia, Republic of Sakha; Krasnoyarsk, Transbaikal, Krasnodar and Stavropol regions; the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District and Khanty-Mansiisk Autonomous District; Moscow, Rostov, Ryazan, Tula, Voronezh, Tambov, Kirov, Belgorod, Nizhny Novgorod, Murmansk, Sverdlovsk, Sakhalin, Arkhangelsk, Tomsk, Saratov and Volgograd regions; Yekaterinburg, Ulyanovsk, Bryansk, Kurgan, Orenburg, Novosibirsk, Vladimir, Smolensk, St. Petersburg, Ivanovo, Kostroma, Samara.
 
The participants of the meeting have arrived to the branch within the All-Russian Academic Competition on professional skills improvement for specialties of vocational secondary education in the area of electro-and power engineering system. The Volgograd power engineering college has acted as the organizer of the Academic Competition.

An interesting program for guests was prepared there: excursion to the Volga TPP-2; at the university colleagues and students can see the laboratories and the unique green ground on the research of nonconventional power- and renewable sources.
 
For the faculty there was organized business program "Successful Specialist Training Technology". Discussion on this subject took place at the high degree of interest and constructibility. Having exchanged experience, the participants of the forum have agreed in opinion that the interest in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, among the youth arises owing to the development of technical creativity.

At the National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute" branch in Volzhskiy people are actively engaged in the solution of this issue. Now preparations are under way to form the technical classes for the students who are interested in engineering, modeling and designing.

Students of the branch have prepared the entertainment program with visit of mini-planetarium for people training in colleges. Within a short period of time the youth has gratefully communicated and has even made friends.

Students from the branch have invited the guests to matriculate in MPEI. In return they warmly expressed their gratitude for the heartiest welcome and promised to be back and to continue study in the National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute" Volga branch.

On the final festive assembly Director of the National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute" Volzhskiy branch Makhsud Sultanov and the Director of the Volgograd power engineering college Vladimir Trofimenko have emphasized the importance of the consensus of two schools – the secondary profession-oriented school and the higher profession-oriented school – for the process of specialists training for the Russian power engineering. They have expressed their gratitude to everybody for dialogue and have wished continuation of cooperation, that had started at the meeting.
