MPEI took part in the meeting of the Coordination Council of the CIS Network University

June 1, 2023 there was a meeting of the CIS Network University Coordination Council. On MPEI part, Alexander Tarasov, Vice-Rector on International Relations and Sergey Shirinskii, Head of International Administration, took part in the event. The discussion was about the main results and prospects of the CIS Networking University (CIS NU) development. Some participants gave a speech on the work done and the prospects for further participation of new member organizations in the CIS NU.

The Coordinating Council decided to join the new member organizations of the CIS Network University: Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and the Saint Petersburg State Marine Technical University. A number of universities joined the existing directions of training: Samara State Technical University ("Thermal Power Engineering and Heat Engineering" direction), Novosibirsk State Agrarian University ("Biotechnology" direction).

The meeting of the Coordinating Council ended with the working meetings of the CIS SU partner universities in the thematic directions.
