Vietnam – new horizons of cooperation

MPEI International Division informs that Tarasov Alexander – Head of Department of International Relations - was sent to Vietnam since 31.03.15 till 05.04.2015 within the contract on cooperation between MPEI and the International Institute of the Vietnamese State University, Hanoi. The purpose of the visit - negotiation on realization of joint educational programs, participations in events of the project "It is time to study in Russia!" and participations in Vietnamese-Russian international scientific conference.

The Vietnamese party expressed deep satisfaction of the Vietnamese experts training level on MPEI basis and hope that the Russian party will be ready to accept group of students on nuclear specialties in the new academic year. The particular interest of the Vietnamese party is caused by training of specialists in the field of information security.

Within the deputation, Tarasov Alexander took part in the selection stage of the project "It is time to study in Russia!" for entering the MA course. The events are aimed at increase of interest among the Vietnamese students in education in Russia. The purpose of the project is selection of the most talented students of Universities for training in Russian Universities.

As a part of Russian Universities delegation Mr. Tarasov took part in Vietnamese-Russian International Scientific Conference 2015 that took place in State University Le Ky Dong.

 

During the conference work, Alexander Tarasov made a speech during the Plenary session with the report "Joint educational programs and export of educational technologies" (authors Zamolodchikov Vladimir, Shirinsky Sergey, Tarasov Alexander). The Vietnamese party stated a particular interest to the cooperation in the areas concerning power engineering and optical-electronic devices and systems. The parties agreed as soon as possible to sign the memorandum and to begin work on creation of joint educational programs.

MPEI representative was accepted by the President of Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute Mr. Tran Chi Thanh.

 

Mr. President is the MPEI graduate and he expressed a wish to sign soon the contract on cooperation with MPEI. Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute is interested in training of Masters and Ph.D.-students on the basis of our University.
