EEI was created on September the 1st, 2014, by merging Institute of Management and Economics in Energy and Industry, "Institute of Information and Economic Security" Training Center, IPEE Department of Economics and Company Organization and IEE Department of Engineering Management. At present, the Institute consists of three departments, where Bachelors and Masters are trained in the fields of study: “Information Security”, “Applied Informatics”, “Business Informatics”, “Economics”, “Management” and “Quality Control”. Programs of extended education developed by Department of Security and Information Technology are in high demand. Specialists and managers of various levels from such organizations as AFK Sistema, PJSC RusHydro and Central Bank of the Russian Federation are trained under these programs.
