MPEI participates in the International Conference "IUNC Eurasia 2015"

MPEI International Division informs that on the 5-8 of May, 2015 MPEI took part in the IV annual Euroasian conference IUNC Eurasia 2015 on advancement of the international education that took place in Moscow, Russia. The IUNC 2015 conference was aimed at evolution of the relationship between Universities in different countries and organization of worldwide interaction network for colleagues and partners. Besides, there was afforded the ground for coming into contacts with recruiting agencies. 98 representatives of Universities, the educational establishments and recruiting agencies from 32 countries of Western Europe, North America, Africa and Latin America and the CIS countries took part in the Conference.

The Conference events included open sessions and seminars on subjects:

• Eurasia – new horizons of interuniversity cooperation
• Analysis of demand and opportunities of cooperation establishment between Universities of the CIS and Universities of foreign countries
• Establishment of effective cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union

MPEI was represented by prof. Igor Zhelbakov, Head of Information-Measurement Technologies Department, and Irina Kulik, engineer of Dean's office for foreign students who held 11 individual meetings with representatives of Universities, the educational organizations and recruiting agencies from the following countries: United Kingdom, France, India, Czech Republic, Canada, Denmark, Jordan, Albania, Spain, Turkey, Botswana. 

 

During the meeting, there were discussed possible areas and prospects of cooperation in creation of joint educational international programs: double diplomas programs, programs of short-term and long-term academic mobility, programs of the academic exchange of students and professors; joint research projects, publications and many other things.
