Traditional Summer School in Poland: MPEI students participation

In Wroclaw University of Technology (WUT) there was successfully realized a program of "Summer School 3E+ Energy, Electronics, Electricity, Civil Engineering" from 04.07.2015 till 25.07.2015.

MPEI and WUT successfully cooperate during half a century, our universities have joint scientific researches in the field of power industry, power plant engineering, high-performance calculations and distributed systems.

Annually since 2010 exchange of students' groups up to 20 people from each party is organized between MPEI and WUT to serve internship and for acquaintance with the host Universities.

This summer within Summer School in Wroclaw students from Russia, Ukraine, China, Australia, India were trained within the course "Efficient and low emission combustion of solid fuels in energetic" and they took courses on power industry, civil engineering, development of android-applications. 

In the training course students MPEI students fulfilled research of organic fuels, their chemical composition and physical characteristics.

Within the cultural program there was an acquaintance to history of Wroclaw University and the city of Wroclaw. Besides, there were organized tours to the open pit on coal production and thermal power plant «Bogatynia».

During the visit to Wroclaw Combined Heat and Power Plant, MPEI students had a magnificent opportunity to see disassembled boiler installation and water - and aircleaning systems.

During the course MPEI students also were learning Polish language.

At the end of the training every student received certificate on successful passing of the course.

MPEI students highly appreciated the training and excellent organization by the host.
