MPEI trainees successfully underwent internship in Czech Technical University in Prague

International Division informs that since 05.02.2015 till 26.06.2015 three MPEI trainees who won the competition concerning grants of the President of Russia for training abroad successfully underwent internship in Czech Republic.

The competition organizer is the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. Annually 100 students and Ph.D.- students become winners of the competition.

MPEI winners in 2014/2015 academic year:

Ph.D.-student of Department of Economics in Power Engineering and Industry Gulicheva E.G.,

master-student of Department of Power Electrical Systems Silaev M. A.,

student from MPEI Volga region branch Yerokhin F.A.

Czech Technical University in Prague was founded in 1707 and it is the oldest technical university of the Central Europe and the oldest civil technical college of the world. There are trained more than 20000 students at 8 faculties. Training is organized in Czech and English languages.

During the internship MPEI trainees attended classes in the specialty in English, they worked on thesis and scientific articles and they took part in conferences.

For each MPEI trainee there was a workplace in CTU campus, equipped with modern technical facility to work on the thesis.

Also CTU in Prague provided access to Czech National Technical Library (NTL) — the library of technical literature, the largest one in Czech Republic, its fund is more than 1,5 million storage units. The library was opened on 09.09.2009 in the campus of Czech Technical University.

Also this year 6 MPEI trainees who chose for training Czech Technical University in Prague (Czech Republic), Technical University of Ilmenau (Germany) and University of Sydney (Australia) became winners of competition concerning grants of the President of Russia for training abroad.
