Delegation from Chung-Ang (Republic of Korea) visited MPEI

On 19.10.2015 delegation from Chung-Ang University visited MPEI. Chung-Ang University is a prestigious private University located in Seoul, the Republic of Korea, accredited by the Ministry of Education of RK. The University was founded in 1918, and now it is one of the largest scientific and educational centers of the Pacific Rim offering a wide choice of the areas and programs of bachelor degree, master courses and doctoral degree including engineering. In the University there are trained more than 30000 students, total staff is 982 employees. The Chung-Ang University is active on realization of the international programs of the students' exchange with the foreign academic partners. 

The delegation of Chung-Ang University included Head of Department of Engineering Mechanics, Director of International Relations, Director of finance and Director on general issues. They were accepted in MPEI International Division by Vice-Rector on International Relations V. Zamolodchikov, Head of International Administration S. Shirinsky, Coordinator of International Division programs, Director of Institute of Power Machinery and Mechanics. and Head of Department of Steam and Gas Turbines. 

During the visit there was taken the first step in development of long-term partnership – there was signed the cooperation agreement between Institute of Power Machinery and Mechanics and Department of Engineering Electrical Mechanics of Chung-Ang University.
