Cooperation with Kazakhstan according to The Visiting Professor Program

The management of Institute of Power Machinery and Mechanics and International Department inform that within the contract on cooperation between the Kazakh National Technical University named after Kanysh Satpayev and MPEI according to The Visiting Professor Program since 08.12.2015 to 23.12.2015 the associate professor of Department of Machines Dynamics and Strength named after V.Bolotina - Samogin Y. gave a master class on the subject "Application of the Final Elements Method in Issues of Power Plant Engineering".

The contract on cooperation between MPEI and Kazakh National Technical University is signed in 2006. Cooperation between our Universities is successfully strengthening in many areas. There is an active work within SCO University.

The course program was charted in Institute of Power Machinery and Mechanics together with Serkov S. By the work results Mr. Samogin and his colleagues from Alma-Ata Akhmetova Sh., Sazambayeva B. and Turdaliyev A. made two articles on subject of Kazakh National Technical University that are presented in the scientific magazines from the HAC list. The Kazakh party suggested organizing the joint Center of preparation and retraining of experts from Kazakhstan on the programs of double degree. There is supposed to create the joint book on the subject "Application of Final Elements Method in Issues of Power Plant Engineering" as the manual for bachelors and masters in 2 languages. Following the results of the business trip there was the meeting with Vice-Rector on International Relations Zamolodchikov V., where there was recommended to deepen cooperation between Institute of Power Machinery and Mechanics and the relevant Institute of Kazakh National Technical University.

The management of Institute of Power Machinery and Mechanics considers that this successful experience can be extended to other Universities where there are contracts on cooperation taking into account that MPEI has the status of the basic organization of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States for preparation, professional retraining and personnel development in the sphere of power industry.
