MPEI Rector meets Uzbek Minister of Energy

18 May, 2021, Nikolay Rogalev, MPEI Rector and Alisher Sultanov, Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan, held a meeting in the framework of the MPEI delegation visit to the Republic.

During the meeting, the issues of development of the MPEI Branch in Tashkent were discussed, as well as the tasks of specialist training and strengthening the strategic partnership of MPEI with the Uzbek Power Industrial Complex. A special topic was concerned to building of the MPEI Branch Campus in Tashkent.

I am sure that the long-term cooperation with Uzbekistan and the productivity of the Tashkent Branch of MPEI will contribute to the strengthening of the relationship between the countries and provide qualified specialists for the Energy branches of the countries’ economies.

The meeting with Nikolay Rogalev was carried out during the official visit of the MPEI delegation to Uzbekistan that included Alexander Tarasov, Vice-Rector on International Relations, Maksim Kravchenko, Head of the MPEI Tashkent Branch and Alexander Ankin, Dean of the Foreign Office.
