The XI MPEI Open Academic Competition on Russian language for foreign students of not philological Universities

On the 23.03.2016 in the Big Assembly Hall there took place the XI MPEI Open Academic Competition on Russian for foreign students of not philological Universities. The event was very successful: students from 14 Moscow Universities took part in it. Participants were welcomed by Rector of MPEI professor Nikolay Rogalev. 

Our team has acted very successful and won first place in 4 various nominations. Besides, MPEI students and Ph.D. students were second in 3 nominations and moved into the 3rd place in 3 nominations. It is necessary to highlight Moscow State University of Railway Engineering (MIIT) that won a special prize of jury "For originality" and also it has claimed first place in one of the nominations and it was second in one more nomination. Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy, National Research Nuclear University "MEPhI" (Obninsk) and National University of Science and Technology "MISiS" won one gold medal. 

Competitive performances lasted till 19 o'clock and they have caused a great interest in the audience. Rewarding of winners and prize-winners will take place on the 08.04.2016 in MPEI Recreation Center during the final gala concert finishing "Week of the foreign student".
