His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, pays special attention to the sphere of education, training of highly qualified personnel for the national economy of our country. One of the most important and promising areas of the country's economy is the electrical power industry as Tajikistan has significant hydro resources. In recent years several HPPs have been built such as "Sangtuda-1", "Sangtuda-2", "Pamir" and a number of small HPPs. The construction of Rogun HPP, a strategic facility in the industry, continues. That is why in 2013 Emomali Rahmon and Vladimir Putin, the leaders of Tajikistan and Russia, signed documents on the establishment of a branch in Tajikistan of one of the most prestigious universities not only in Russia, but also in the world – the National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute".

It is gratifying to note that over the years of the branch's operation, its professors and personnel planned the educational process in such a way that highly qualified personnel, so necessary in the field of hydropower engineering, graduated from the branch university. Lutfiya Abduholikzoda once again congratulated those present on the 10th anniversary of education, wished success in the hard but necessary work of the country.
