MPEI graduates of the Etalon group in Shanghai

Dmitrii Gabdushev and Evgeniy Golokhvastov, MPEI graduates of the Etalon group of the Institute of Electric Power Engineering visited the 31st international exhibition of the electric power engineering equipment and technologies EP Shanghai 2023 in Shanghai, China.

The students have been sent to China under the Russian Presidential scholarship program for study abroad.

From 15th to 17th November 2023, the 60 000 m² exhibition hosted more than 1,500 brands from all over the world. The event attracted more than 40,000 visitors from China and more than 2,000 foreign guests.

The innovative proposals of the exhibitors were presented in five thematic areas, which most fully cover all the key areas of modern energy: transmission and distribution of electricity, automation of the electric power industry, digitalization, integration and intelligent production. A number of national pavilions were also exhibited.

As part of the event, the editorial office of the journal “ELECTRIC POWER. Transmission and Distribution” presented a special English-language edition on separate and information stands.

An article by the research team of the MPEI and PJSC “Rosseti Moscow Region” was included in the journal.  From MPEI side, Dmitrii Gabdushev, Rostislav Goenko and Daria Klimkina, students of the 2nd year Master's degree program of the TFEE Department, worked on the article under the guidance of Artem Vanin, Associate Professor of the Theoretical Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering Department (TFEE).
