International historical action “Victory Dictation” at MPEI branch in Dushanbe

On April 26, 2024 students and professors of the branch again joined the International historical action “Victory Dictation”. The “Victory Dictation” is held in order to attract the general public to the historical studies of the Great Patriotic War and improve historical literacy.

This year's tasks are devoted to the 80th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad, the anniversary of the liberation of the Crimea and Sevastopol.

Crimea and Sevastopol, the beginning of the operation Bagration, anniversaries of the writers-front-line soldiers and other memorable dates.

In 2024, the campaign will be held for the sixth time. Over these years, it has evolved from an interesting public initiative into a popular, educational project. The goal of the “Victory Dictation” is to affirm the historical truth, to form a solid and deep knowledge of the history of the Great Patriotic War among all participants.

The international patriotic action “Victory Dictation” has been held since 2019 in online and offline formats. The results of the dictation will be summarized by May 9.

Participation is not only a test of one's knowledge and skills, but also an opportunity to honor the memory of those who gave their lives for our future. It is an active participation in preserving and passing on the historical memory to the next generations. Every year more and more people join this action, which testifies to its significance and relevance. “Victory Dictation” becomes a symbol of unity and memory of important historical events. Participation in the “Victory Dictation” is not only a symbol of support for veterans and the memory of the fallen, but also an opportunity to take part in a public cause, which is aimed at preserving historical truth and values.

The international campaign “Victory Dictation” is an important and significant event. Thanks to it, the history of the terrible war, how it really was, will be known all over the world. Every time the action gathers people of different ages, different levels of training and different beliefs. All of us are united by pride for the victory in the Great Patriotic War, which is the greatest achievement of the Soviet people.
