On 1 October
2016, MPEI received a certificate of membership in the Union of High Education
Establishments (hereinafter- The Union of HEE) "One Belt - One Road".
The Union of HEE
"One Belt - One Road" was established on 17 October 2015 within the
framework of the "Dunhuang Consensus" announced by the universities
of China, Russia, Korea and other countries.
The first
thematic forum of the Union of HEE "One Belt, One Road" was held from
18 to 19 September 2016 in Dunhuang.
MPEI’s particular
points of interest are:
Creating a
cooperation platform for sharing educational information;
Creation of a new mechanism of international training of specialists,
promotion of student exchange between the union's high education
establishments, international experience in training highly qualified
specialists;
Cooperation in the framework of research projects, enhancing the exchange
of teachers, professors and scientific researchers.
