The Thermophysics Department was founded in 1954 to train specialists in new areas of power engineering. The key feature of the Thermophysics Department is the emphasis on the fundamental training in physics, mathematics and computer science. Our lecturers are world-famous scientists; scientific work is the most important part of the department functioning.
