Summary​

The main goal of the center is to conduct research and investigations for receiving the set of data on characteristics of hydrodynamics and heat transfer of promising coolants, thermophysical properties of coolants and structural materials for the formation of research-based recommendations for creating safe and efficient heat-transfer systems of fusion tokamak and hybrid reactors, the new generation PWR and fast reactors.

Educational programs

The Scientific and Educational Center for Physical and Technical Problems of Energetics (SEC PTPE), combining scientific, technical and human resources of National Research University “Moscow Power Engineering Institute” and Joint Institute for High Temperature of the Russian Academy of Science (JIHT RAS), is one of the objects of industrial practice, educational and research work of students, scientific and production base, for training highly qualified personnel (doctoral students, postgraduates and specialists), professional retraining and professional development of young scientists, specialists and teachers, including those from external organizations in research field.
