Summary

Department of Metals Technology was founded at 1936. Nowadays, the department takes a leading position in Russia in the field of electron beam processing and diagnostics of structural materials. The department has two active scientific schools, and provides specialists training in the field of electron beam technology and non-destructive testing of metals and welded joints.

Abuseif Nukha

Abuseif Nukha has arrived as a student from Tishreen University (Latakia, Syrian Arab Republic) to Power Engineering Department for training at MPEI Department of Metal Technology. After graduation from the Department she will be a Ph.D.- student of the Department with a degree in "Materials science (machine engineering)" 05.16.09.

Abuseif Nukha made presentations at 4 international conferences. The list of academic papers includes 3 articles published in journals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission. 1 article is indexed in the Scopus database.
