To fulfill the order of Russian Public Health Ministry dated Nov, 25, 1993 and the Decision of the Federal Foundation of Mandatory Medical |Insurance named "About the mandatory medical insurance of the students, trainees and PhD students of Russian Educational Institutions” and in accordance with the Moscow Government Act “On clinical examination of Moscow University’s students and the ways of its improvement" all foreign students should buy the medical insurance policy and the insurance against the accidents. The medical insurance policy should include the annual clinical examination, and the accident policy should include the repatriation on medical recommendations.
MPEI University has made the agreement with the insurance company, which won the tender on the foreign student insurance in accordance with which all MPEI foreign students have got the complete insurance on favorable rate. At that, The payment is fulfilled through the bank on the basis of MPEI invoices, and the insurance policy is brought to the Dean office by the insurance company.
This year, our partner Russian insurance company who for 6200 Russian rubles provides the medical examination service, the dental service, calling a doctor to home (to the student hostel), the ambulance, the medical treatment in the hospital, the medical repatriation, consulting and diagnostic help. The annual medical examination is included.
