Strategic Partnership of
Ilmenau University of Technology (Germany), St. Petersburg Electrotechnical
University "LETI" (Russia) and the National Research University
"Moscow Power Engineering Institute" (Russia) – SPITSE
SPITSE is a network
university, whose activities are aimed at implementing strategic trilateral
cooperation between Russian and German universities in the field of education
and science, as well as coordination of cooperation, strengthening
competitiveness and increasing international reputation, in particular, through
the implementation of "two-diploma" programs and joint research
projects.

The aim of cooperation is to
conduct joint scientific research and implement interdisciplinary projects in
the field of theoretical electrical engineering, microelectronics and power
engineering, as well as to organize academic exchanges of university personnel
and students.

The project was launched in
March 2013 and is supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research
of the Federal Republic of Germany, the German Academic Exchange Service
(DAAD), the German Research Foundation (DFG), the Institute of Electrical and
Electronics Engineers (IEEE)
International
Scientific Symposium "Sense. Enable. SPITSE" is the main annual event
of the strategic partnership and combines scientific and practical conferences
and Summer School for young researchers.
The main topics
of the conferences and scientific research are as follows:
High-frequency and
ultra-high-frequency electronics;
Wireless Sensors and Systems;
Biomedical diagnostics;
Nonlinear dynamic
modeling and signal processing;
Information Technology
and Embedded Software.
The first
Symposium was held at the Technical University of Ilmenau (Germany) from July 7
to 18, 2014, when the Russian-German network university was launched.
The second
Symposium is organized in Russia at St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical
University "LETI" from June 22 to July 3, 2015.
The Third
